Look at the iRacing Stats in Rookies Road..

There are also some with other licenses who is below 2.50, but I have no time to find them ( Edit: I just took my time to do it).. So this is only in Rookie

In iRacing you starts with a SR at 2.50 in Rookie class.

Rookie license Road:
There has been 7.499 people through iRacing. There are 600 drivers at this moment who is below 2.50 in SR. Some are still driving iRacing at Rookie level, but there are also people in between that has left iRacing.

78 drivers is on 2.47 - 2.49. They don`t need many races to get it up to above 2.99 even with few incindents here and there..

I think some people just looks too much on their SR.. and forgets to have fun..

To get promoted for the next license you must be above 3.0.
To stay at your license you must be above 2.0.
To get demoted you must be below 2.0.. But who wants that..

I can see that B license drivers there are only 29 below 2.50 and still 6 weeks left of the season to get above 3.0.

Quote from StableX : If you constantly get taken out by peope [at no fault of your own] then you lose SR as a result and I can see why it will get frustrating.

There will always be people who dislikes things and even I doesn`t like everything, not even in iRacing. But I can cope with it and still enjoying my racing..

I has never ever seen a guy taken out constantly. And if there is, there must be something wrong.
I had also been taken out and had a bad race and got 12 Inc. points (in road) but I got the SR back in no time. It`s also about my driving and doing the right things my self. I must adapt to the situations on the track. And shit will happen at some point. I don`t know the numbers of people who has problems with the SR ( I think the last time we had a promotion to the next license, only two failed, IF i`m remembering it correct), I just know that all the danish guys who is racing in iRacing is very well secure in the SR, no one has been demoted to a lower license because of their SR, but I know at least one who didn`t get his promotion because he forgot to do the 4 TT or 4 races in the season.. .

Yes you can be an innocent part in a collision, and so what? The next race will be better... IRL your car are destroyed and you must pay for the repair even you are innocent, in iRacing you are only loosing a little bit of SR, but you are not loosing money..
I think I can find statistic for how many there is under 2.0 in SR. Will find it later.

The right thing to do is to forget about SR and just race. A couple of weeks before the season ends, look at you SR and if it is below 3.0, then it will only take you a very few races to get it above 3.0 so you can get your next license. Your CPI is very easy if you are below 2.99 - or even at 1.99

Quote from anttt69 : If only we could turn safety rating off. (the slightest tap = disaster )

When you get used to it it`s the best thing in the world. All my races has been very clean from day one. Off course accidents happens. One week after I got my D license ( I think it was in July 2008) in Road my SR was above 4.99 and has only one time since, been on 4.68 and it took me 4 or 5 races to get it above 4.99 again. I`m now on a B license and it`s still above 4.99.

In oval it`s the same story, although i`m only on a C license there..

Having a high SR has really nothing to say (other than you can race "up" before the season ends IF your SR is above 4.0). You only needs 3.0 to get your next license at the end of a season. And when your SR is higher it`s also more difficult to maintain your SR because you needs more corners pr. incident.

You can see CPI - Corners Per Incident in the attachment. The OLD is not interesting, it`s the new who counts..

In the last couple of weeks I have raced two liga races in LFS for the first time since june last year, and all I can say is that SR rules..I wish it was in LFS..

Oh, forgot:
Kyoto ring
Westhill

You joined in 2008.. Lets talk about it later..
Maybe it`s enogh for you, but it`s not for me.
Since 2005 we got no new tracks, thats 4 year this july.
There has been two new cars since 2005 FBM and BF1.
It`s boring for me...it`s not boring for you..
You don`t need to defend LFS for me, I don`t complaining at all, I just writes the facts who matters to me, ok?
I`m not a guy who is slamming a game, if I`m not satiesfied I just find another game in the mean time. A lot of people could learn by this. If you don`t like what you sees, move on...

Quote from aceracer :I don't really understand how people can get bored with the content. Maybe I'm too old and slow, but I still haven't mastered any combo fully and I've been at this for 1.5 years now.

No you can`t understand that because you have only been here since 2007. Thought about the guys who has raced it since 2002/03? Lets talk about it 4 or 5 years time from now on, ok?

I didn`t answered you because i`m not satiesfied with LFS, I answered you because you can`t understand why SOME can get bored by it. Ok if we gonna talk about it we should maybe only count from S2 in 2005 and then i`m still almost 2 years ahead of you..

I don`t wanna complain about LFS, i`m sure it has a bright future...

Quote from bbman :iRacing seems to manage fine without mods and with even less usable content than LfS... Both developers declared they would not (yet) open their game to mods, and yet I haven't seen you suggesting mods on the iRacing-forums...

Why here then?

You sounds silly.

Can`t George have an opinion on LFS who`s differs from iRacing?

I`m not for modding, but did you think about that LFS is OLD and iRacing is NEW? Mods suggestion only after 6 months of iRacing?.. Lets talk about it in 5 years time..

I`m not driving LFS anymore (apart from last thursday) and I dont HATE LFS (or the guys who is driving it) even i`m into iRacing ATM.

Can you see yourself putting up the funds and getting it for a 2nd year?

In June I will for sure buy another year and depending on the Danish Krone against the Dollar I will maybe buy 2 years..

I`ll be there for many years... And when S3 is out I will come back to LFS alongside with iRacing..

It was nice skins indeed. The first skins were made by Joachim Fiess back in 2003 and when we started a danish ACR up again after a long break, the skins were changed slightly...

The team is gone but, some of us from the FORMER Team DBA and from ACR will still drive with the skins IF we joins LFS from time to time..

That's what I like about LFS, people race to win, but we also have fun and enjoy ourselfs. Something I don't imagine happens on iRacing.

Whats wrong with you? Don`t you think I have fun and enjoying my self in iRacing? Maybe you don`t like it and thats ok, but you for sure sounds a little bit stupid with comments like that!

No I sold them to my former team mate Alland44

I had BRD Speed7 pedals for more than two years, but the last 1 1/2 years i have used Revzalot P35R pedals. They are much better than Speed7 pedals, but Speed7 pedals is still a good choise.
Get a good set of pedals before you buy an expensive wheel. I owned the VPP wheel for 2 1/2 years, and even it was a good wheel, my G25 is a ok substitute.

The Speed7 pedals is here:

And Revzalot is here (it`s a newer version than mine, called P36). P35R is just superb. Very good feeling in them and the braking feel is just so much better. It`s very good quality and no problems what so ever since I got them. I bought the Button Box with them also. Take a look at the box on the Revzalot site. Pedals and the Button Box is my best buy ever, appart from my TH2Go Digital.

My setup is attached

European tracks and cars?..

From Scott McKee in the email press release of the Vette...

And, of course, there is no more iconic brand than Corvette. Admittedly, it is quintessentially American, but, hey, we’re a U.S.-based company. We started our track library with North American properties, too, but Silverstone soon followed; cars will be no different. Our car- and track-building teams are already warming up their passports for 2009. I’d love to tell you more – but this secret needs to be kept for a bit longer …

(I think that's the way the tracks, I mean configs, are calculated nowadays. After all, 1 out of 6 sounds kinda "less" )

Although Virginia is wonderfull reversed..

He wrote most of them. Thats why I reacted. There are two more ovals - I would not call that MOST OF THEM. If he counted the ovals with road courses in them for ovals, then most of them is ovals.
It depends on how you count the word MOST. Two more oval tracks than road courses is not what I call most..
Sry mister i can count..
Its sounded like there was very few Road Courses in iRacing. But 9 out of 20 is a very high number. How many has we in LFS?
